With the arrival of the Chinese New Year, New Jordan upcoming "Year of the Tiger" product has finally surfaced. While little information was leaked last year, it was clear that the upcoming Slam Dunk High School was on board. At first glance, the all-white colorway doesn't seem interesting at all. But once you take a closer look, you'll find lots of interesting details and qualities that rival even Slam Dunk High's co-op makeup. For starters, the toe can change the usual perforation to hit a five star in the middle of the toe. Adjacent, the tongue provides a woven structure that ostensibly pays homage to handcrafted craftsmanship, like a piece of stitching in the heel. What's more, there's a Chinese character embroidered on the heel -- roughly translated as "pick up," while "loyal to yourself" is embroidered on the inside of the heel, equally neutral and barely visible. If its recent reveal is any indication, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT seems to be getting more attention than last year. The latest colorway appears to be inspired by CO.JP's "metallal silver," a silhouette that adds to an already exciting new roster. Unlike the former Japan exclusive, the upper layer here is entirely constructed from suede. But the shade of grey itself is fairly close to its effect, though without the same metallic sheen. This sheen is present on the slash and collar, however, both opt for a darker, more true-to-life silver look. Elsewhere, white neutrals treat the midsole and black wings and various branding.
Jeremy Scott and Adidas combined luxury and sportswear throughout the 2010s, cementing their place in high-end fashion and sneakers. While the industry San Francisco 49ers Jersey has been chasing these two cars over the past five years, the Scott and the Three-Bar continue to captivate both the old and new generation of Adidas progenitor enthusiasts. The latest collaboration between the American designer and the German sportswear brand features a striking blue gradient in another adidas Forum Hi Wings 4.0. A rich leather construction takes up most of the silhouette, which is Scott's collaboration with the brand, with shades of pink, turquoise and green playing supporting roles in the aforementioned shades of blue. The profile 3-stripes are immersed in spring-appropriate rose tones, while the leather is covered in a low-heel and stabilized construction opting for a near-fluorescent green. The wing parts facing the toe box are predominantly blue and black, with the nearby Trefoil branding and locking straps in contrasting colors. Underfoot, J.S. and his partner covered the sole unit designed for basketball almost entirely in black, allowing the upper to rave even more in the spotlight.
Ahead of Spring 2022, 2021Sneakers has launched more than a dozen vintage styles, many in warm-weather colors. Recently, a kid trapeze Jordan 1 Mead appeared in yet another perfect spring arrangement. Informally dubbed the "Blue Mint" colorway, the newly surfaced pair is based on smooth white leather with some of the Air Jordan 1's most iconic styles. Covered around the toes, along the tongue and near the collar, however, indulge in a navy blue makeover to complement the fresh mint color that brings the ankle flap and low heel plate to life. The upcoming sneaker seems fit for a Miami exclusive, but given its kid-friendly design and mid-top trim, it's unlikely the shoe will launch after the ultra-limited launch. Still, this sneaker, reminiscent of Nike's dunk line, is likely to be obsolete at any time thanks to its crisp, cool finish. Whenever spring and summer roll around, the entire Nike umbrella comes with tie-dye prints and bright crayons. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 low, however, deviates quite a bit, as it features acid-washed denim for every overlay. The game is usually associated with rock and roll, and its finish feels familiar, as the brand has only recently started paying homage to the genre. Here, it covers the toe, collar, counter and many panels in between, contrasting with the smooth white leather foundation underneath. Swoosh, upper, laces, etc., though, complement the variety of cool shades, each of which is just a few shades of the darling "college blue."
